When looking to change up your recruitment
process make sure that you are developing a
method to measure the current state and conduct
evaluation. Some metrics that you may want
to consider tracking are the number of diverse
applicants, ratio of diverse applicants to total
applicants, number of diverse hires, ration or
diverse hires to total hires, number of diverse
candidates proceeding through each stage in the
hiring process and number of diverse job seekers
self-identifying their status. Once you figure out
what you want to measure make sure that you
create that baseline and track it to ensure that you
are increasing success in diversity recruitment.
Companies should continue to push in 2021 for
a more diverse talent pipeline and continue to
increase diversity metrics to ensure that they
are reflective of the available talent pool in their
